Active

The record is resolvable and may be relied upon only within its disclosed claim scope and applicable agreement.

Suspended

Reliance is paused while the record remains resolvable with a signed reason and timestamp.

Superseded

A newer credential replaces the current version. The historical record remains resolvable and links to its successor.

Revoked

The credential is no longer valid for reliance. It remains resolvable with explicit revoked state and transition history.

Expired and not found

Expired records preserve historical truth with time-bounded status. Not-found responses are stable negative results and do not leak unrelated record data.

CANONICAL AUTHORITY

Trust remains inspectable.

Every Test Mode result carries its evidence scope, policy result, signature state, lifecycle state, registry projection, and machine-readable response.
